When you first saw the topic "When you were a child, did you ROCK at video games?" how did you read it?

I pictured a rock when I saw the word and then I thought rocking back and forth as you play them when I read the question.

I hadn't even thought of picturing a rock, that would also have been an interesting one to add to the poll.

Yeah, I also thought of rocking back and forth while you played the video game.

I thought it was about some music game at first, then I thought it was about whether you're good at games or not.

Rock as in 'good' (as a euphemism for 'rock and roll') is the most common popular usage currently, especially with an activity such as video games.

I would assume if you meant stimming (especially on this site), the question would have read 'Do you rock while you play video games' :D

When I first read the title, I thought of rocking back and forth in front while playing a video game....that didn't seem right so my mind sort of got stuck on that thought until I read the post itself. ("stuck on that thought"=figuring out what wasn't quite making sense about the words as compared to the image in my mind)

I thought of stimming, and I answered the question as if it was about stimming. I forgot to answer the real question about being good at video games, which I am not.

I read it as referring to stimming, and I know it was grammatically incorrect if interpreted that way. I am accustomed to grammatical misadventures on the internet, however.

When I saw "ROCK" I thought it was a somewhat antiquated slang expression but knew what it meant.

I thought of rocking back and forth and rocking (being very good at) simultaneously and wonder which the question was referring to. And yes. Yes i did. Both interpretations.
