I have been thinking that I would love to find a way to meet up with other aspies in my area and have meetings on a regular basis. The AANE (Asperger's Association of New England) has nothing going around here, the nearest meeting place is 2 hours away and I don't even drive. How could I go about it, considering I don't want to talk about it on Facebook and have all my frenemies start calling me a "ret*d", as that's what they would do. Craig's List seems like an option, but I think that I might get weirdos responding, people looking for promiscuous sex who are dumb enough to think they can join just about any social group to get it. Any ideas? I looked in the stats thread here and there is only 1 other person with Asperger's in the vicinity.

1. Do so or mention it on FB
2. Watch those who respond/insult
3. Ban them to purge your enemy list/true dicks
4. ??????
5. PROFIT :P

we take turns, this way everyone gets the chance to pick a hangee.

Said the hangman to the hangee, What a dope! I ran out of rope!
Said the hangee to the hangman, No noose is good news!

Overall I think Facebook is not going to work, due to this being a small town and it might even affect my chances of finding employment...
