Sure have. I speak about my writing. Or rather, I read word for word, and I don't speak extemporaneously very much.

And then I have an It Gets Better video:

I've been speaking about ASD related issues since high school in countless settings across my region, including several major conferences. I can safely say that I have spoken from one person to over thousands of people at once.

If you need any tips, tricks or suggestions, feel free to PM me!

This misdiagnosis caused me significant stress, which lessened upon finding out the truth about myself from my current and past long-term therapists - that I am an anxious and highly sensitive person but do not have an autism spectrum disorder.

My diagnoses - social anxiety disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

I’m no longer involved with the ASD world.

Yes, I once gave a public speech about autism spectrum disorders in a college couse called, "Speech Comunication 100: Public Speaking". I would have received a perfect grade on the speech were it not for my tone of voice being "monotone" and "unexcited about topic" (which was as far from the truth as can possibly be).

Yes, I do speaking in a way. I have a ministry of music and I share some things about my Asperger's/autism. I have been very well received so far, and people are most interested to know more about autism and the folk instruments I play. I am a talent savant (at least 10% on the autism spectrum are) and I am able to play musical instruments that I am fascinated with in little time and with no lessons. I usually include the information about savants because people almost always ask how long it took for me to learn to play the instruments. For the most part, I have been able to play them overnight.

I enjoy listening to others speak on autism. I almost had the opportunity to listen to Temple Grandin, but our autism group here in Ohio couldn't get enough people together to travel to see her. Our autism group has had a marimba player give a concert and an author whose son has autism speak. And next month we are having a lady speak to us about her new book and her autism.

Yes I have spoken to people about it. I did a presentation at the Lioness Club I am in, I also did a presentation to clients at a disability agency I used to attend and I also did a presentation to support workers and carers and a support worker, carers meeting. I also have spoken in front of a small group of people to a full room full of people. I would eventually like to do a presentation at conferences.
