Mild to moderate to me.

I speak quite differently to that, but we're all different. But I think the ''Autistic level'' he is on is probably around mild or moderate - in other words, high-functioning.

What do you mean when you say "I speak quite differently to that"?

Is that a video of you AlexWelshman?

I think it was great and came across well. I would be really scared speaking to a lot of people.

I only watched tiny bits of it at first and so didn't quite take in and only judged him by that. But after watching the whole video, I realised that if I didn't know any better I wouldn't have even suspected Autism throughout the video as a whole.

That's a lesson to NTs - never judge a book by it's cover.

I think the guy in the video has AS. Is that you, by the way? You're adorable. :)

Nice vid Alex, I'd say you're high functioning, the least severe form of autism. You look nice :)

I didn't say anything, but when someone else asked, it seemed obvious. The name on the video was Alex, and it mentions "autism cymru." And it is my understanding that Cymru is Wales. And since you are AlexWelshman, it seemed a logical conclusion to me .

Your talk was great, and you handled it well.

Yes, it is quite a logical conclusion. And thanks. BTW, what type of autism would you have guessed I was after seing this & what level?

Well I didn't guess that you were that guy and I wouldn't say you are autistic if you didn't say it.

My assumption would be that you were diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome. While my immediate impression would be that you are mild, it is difficult to make sucha determination from a few minutes of video. I don't know what you're like when you're overloaded, shut down, melting down, when you have to engage in conversation versus giving a scripted presentation, what kind of difficulties you have with activities of daily living, adaptive skills, self-help skills, and the like. I did note you used a reasonable amount of body language and facial expressions.

I'm sorry if that response is either overly detailed or not helpful.
