I've come across this geek test, that's rates your geekiness. I come out as a super geek (48%) and am very proud. I reckon this test should be used for AS assessments.

Did you find some of the questions not broad enough to show off your true Geek Quotient? I did. 'Have you ever written to a newspaper editor?' NEWSPAPER EDITOR!! !! I've written to the bloomin Prime Minister himself. Several times.
There was also a dialog box that popped up three separate times after I finished that said that the ratio of male to female geeks is at least 10/1, therefore a 1% advantage is fair, but it already had me check the box by "female geek" five times, before figuring my percentage. I'm not sure whether that means that I should add three more percent onto the percentage it gave me, or just what.

38.0007% Major Geek
My geekiness scores drops drastically as soon as anyone asks about movies or TV shows. No, I haven't seen those, no I don't know the characters usually (though its hilarious when I start correcting people), no I don't own them. I dislike TV/movies, is that so hard to understand?

Ha ha. I just wrote a column about geeks for the homepage here. I'm definitely a geek.

That has got to be the longest online test I've ever taken.
I scored 23.06273%. I was expecting a higher score. People who know me all find me super geeky. I guess the subjects of my geekiness aren't stereotypical enough to count on the test though.

At 19% I rate as a rather ordinary Geek. I lost points for not being proficient in either math or programming. Although I gained a point for being married to somebody who is (as noted in the Assortative Mating hypothesis of autism's increase). Some of the test was quite modern, so as to not miss the teens and young adults. Some of it was hilariously dated, so as to not miss the middle agers. I noticed there were points for wearing two watches at once or for wearing a digital watch. Back in the 80's this was geeky. But these days, does anybody still wear watches? I suppose it counts for young people as deliberate retro geekiness- holding onto vintage tech.
