Do you think the men in the film are mild, mod or severe?

David is moderate. He can't have conversations well and has a hard time answering questions and can't take care of himself. He can't even do small talk or even live on his own. It sucks they stop helping autistic people once they get out of high school, it's like they leave them behind. What's the point in helping autistic children if they are going to be abandoned when they are adults?
I also wouldn't consider him HFA either. If we are talking about autism alone, I'd say moderate. The autism spectrum, maybe moderate since he is verbal.

Joe is moderate too for ASD and autism alone, moderate. At least he is still getting the help he needs.

What with these functioning label threads?

I watched it for a couple of minutes. I agree with League_Girl that David is moderate. The spectrum itself is broad and every aspie is not the same. I only say moderate because he needs some assistance and has his parents as his carers

I am in concurrence with everyone who has responded to this thread that the men in the posted video are moderately autistic.
