Hey there, I was just listening to "Co'Mon Rock" by Stryper while doing some overdue homework and I felt some weird pained feeling in my head. Not like PAIN, it's really weird.. And then then it got kinda annoying. I went and listened to Slayer a few minutes later and then I felt fine about it.

Is this a weird aspie thing? I know aspie minds are weird-a** minds (no pun intended) sometimes.

I had that same feeling when I was listening to Friday, by Rebecca Black. I never thought that I could experience something like that.

First of all, that's an interesting song. Second of all, I listened to the song now and it feels fine. WTH.

I have sound sensitivity issues, and sometimes if I'm otherwise overloaded, even music I like will be temporarily too much for me to listen to.

I love classical music and encounter it frequently at university, since I'm studying music. Sometimes in the classroom, when I'm dealing with fluorescent lights and a crowd of students, when the teacher puts on classical music for us to listen to I just want to put my hands over my ears.

It reminds me of my dad, who has some AS traits. He likes classical music but when we buy him CDs for Christmas he requests that we don't buy him certain violin pieces because they hurt his ears.

But yes, depending on my general level of overload, sometimes a song I love can be too much, and then shortly after it will be fine again.
