I have sound sensitivity issues, and sometimes if I'm otherwise overloaded, even music I like will be temporarily too much for me to listen to.
I love classical music and encounter it frequently at university, since I'm studying music. Sometimes in the classroom, when I'm dealing with fluorescent lights and a crowd of students, when the teacher puts on classical music for us to listen to I just want to put my hands over my ears.
It reminds me of my dad, who has some AS traits. He likes classical music but when we buy him CDs for Christmas he requests that we don't buy him certain violin pieces because they hurt his ears.
But yes, depending on my general level of overload, sometimes a song I love can be too much, and then shortly after it will be fine again.
