Sometimes I do this if Im in a large crowd of people. I look at their faces and try to figure out what they might be thinking. Do you ever do that?

Give me evidence that people actually think. I sure can't find any.

I have studied Body Language & Psychology and just observed people's behavior for a very long time and it definitely seems like everyone is just doing the old "Monkey see, Monkey do".

I have not found any evidence that the majority of people actually think for themselves, this may be because: They let themselves be manipulated by "The Media" and/or their environment.

I find it strange that no matter how differently you think you we're raised, they can still put you in a catagory. I think that has to do with the "Monkey see, Monkey do".

Haha, I do so if I'm very bored, but when I spot an angry person, I think, "Thanks God I can't read minds."

No. If asked I would say that I wish I knew what the people in my life were thinking, but even if they told me, I wouldn't know whether to believe them, so I guess I'll never know. I just infer some kind of intelligent guess as to what might be going on in there, and hope for the best, but with no great faith in my accuracy. So I kind of lost my curiosity about it, because it seems so futile to wonder.

I'm more interested in what people are feeling. There are extermal signs of that, which I sometimes spot. But even so, it horrifies me to think how little attention I give to it. Even really close people like partners - in fact partners can be even more of a black box, as if the transference theory is correct and people never really see their partners for who they are but just see a vague reminder of their opposite-sex parent.

Just about never. That's a big part of having Aspergers.

Until I was in my early twenties it never once occurred to me to think what might be going in other people's minds, or that they might have minds at all. Yet, superficially, I was able to interact.

I watch people a lot. I tend to see them as interesting objects in my environment.

Sometimes I try to work out what they are thinking, or feeling. Other times I just like to observe their behaviour, their interactions with other people, how they portray themselves to the world.

People are mighty odd.

I dont directly consider which words they say, well maybe sometimes its obvious, for example "thanks" or stuff like that.

I rather observe their reactions to each other and understand who they think they are.

There is an interesting sureness about it all.

I sometimes find it interesting to infer all kinds of things about people from their physical manifestation

Not really. I mostly just hope they won't bother me.

I sometimes look at people and wonder "what do you think about all day? When you're settling in for bed, what exactly goes through your mind?"

This is pretty much how I feel. It is sometimes interesting to see how strangers interact with each other. Kids or overly affectionate people can be fascinating to watch.. from a distance of course.

Nope. I'm too focused on what I'm doing to really care.
