Hi all,

One year ago I've been diagnosed with GAD,a light cyclothimia, and OCD type personality.

After medication I am out of the diagnosis of GAD, but I still have a higher anxiety than average, let's say.

Otherwise I am fully functional, but I still have - and always had - social problems, generated mostly by an increased sensitivity that makes me overreact and throws me into depressive periods that can last good weeks.

My question to you is if you followed any kind of psychotherapy for this kind of issues, the kind of therapy that you followed, results, and the kind of therapeut - psychologist or psychiatrist.

Thanks for your answers!

I recommend DBT, actually. I did it for a few months in an intensive day tx program led by MSWs. I haven't had any mood or anxiety issues since I went through that treatment, actually, and I'm off my SSRI and Buspar.
