As memory is as useful as bird droppings.
Anyone have any T&T (tips&tricks) relating to memory?

My most frequently used solution is to use muscle memory rather than the unreliable primary one. And of course a self-developed 1-9 numerical system based on geometry to make numerical notes unreadable. Combined use with a abstract tattoo based on my numerical system to make my muscle remembering harder to understand.

At least a bit more discreet than getting the phone in you pocket.

Make use of available technology.......no shame in that.

I don't understand. Usually when I hear muscle memory it's in relation to physical activity. Could you elaborate on what you are trying to achieve?

Can not remember numbers, but no problem writing them down on let's say a visa-card reader and such.

I still don't understand the muscle memory and tattoo but I would say that if you associate objects with words (one - fun, two - shoe, three -tree, four - door, etc) it might make numbers easier for you to remember, especially if you visualize. For example- The TREE put on SHOES and kicked the DOOR down to join the FUN party = 3241.

On visa-card readers and calculators you have a 1 to 9 numerical keyboard. Or you could relate it to the phenomena that is writing on your pc without looking on your keyboard.
But rather using your own standard instead of qwerty for symbols or numerical 1-9 for numbers.
Thus keeping it in the muscle memory of your fingers.
