I am an aspie with lots of social phobia and issues like that. im living with the parents. anyway the stress at home is too much to take.. I have an apartment, but it is in a part of town that is probably the worst in all of town. lots of drug dealers and sketchy ppl in that entire building. should I go back to my apartment or stay here? but i cant take the stress here as well.

Have you considered getting a different apartment where you believe it is safer?

I can't afford getting an apartment somewhere else right now. I am on disability assistance, hence my initial point.

The therapy that has worked best for me is emersion therapy. If something scares you: do it. Your phobias are yours. Own them. The thing that has made the most difference for me has been becoming self-dependant.

Tough situation. If at all possible hang on in there. Independent living is a great goal and really worth persevering with.
