I've just taken down my whole family history with help from my mother and father, note, I'm still undiagnosed, but after writing all of this down, I'm wondering if even from birth, I ever really stood a chance. It's by far the most messed up tree I can imagine, linking back to at one side, my grandparents being cousins.

To note some things : autism, stress, OCD, depression, down syndrome, 2 suicides, multiple attempts across various relatives, schizophrenia, split personality, extreme anti social behavior, alcoholism and drug abuse. Most of these things run across both lines of my family.
Suddenly being an undiagnosed aspie, makes me feel like one of the sanest people in my family. Still, I wonder howmuch of the above will contribute in my official diagnosis.

It will contribute a lot your family tree sounds very similar to mine. I have a lot of undx relatives now that I have much knowledge and understanding I can pick up on these things.

And also my children have it from both sides of the family, I am from Ireland my husband from Egypt and his family have the same issues AS, OCD, ADHD, Schizophrenia, Classic Autism etc.

My son dx with childhood autism/hfa today have previous dx of AS, he also dx with ADHD, OCD and my daughter ADD, GAD and I strongly suspect ASD I don't have any other children.
