Well some aspies seem quite fine with the way society is set up while others don't, same with Nts or people with any other mental conditions/illnesses/disorders.

I am new here and never heard this term before: neuro-typical. I am baffled by the all the talk about NTs...NTs this, NTs that. Being typical in any sense, neurologically or otherwise, does not make someone a model human being. It only means they are in the majority, the lowest common denominator of society.

From what I heard 80% + of aspies fight with and are unhappy with society's set up however maybe I am biased from not being diagnosed till I was 30

Dianthus I completely agree with you. Quite often ( in my opinion) the majority vote or opinion is the wrong one

That depends on what is right and wrong. I don't like these black and white terms because it all just depends on the aspie and society. What if an aspie were to steal? Since aspies are right, stealing is right. See what I mean? That's why I hate black and white. Sometimes I like black and white and hate the gray because sometimes gray areas are bad because of the way things are set up and it makes things so confusing.

However I think what I was hoping you would take from this poll is that society doesn't treat aspies very well and is rather ignorant of how they hurt us with their judgements

I don't want to treat all NT's like one big category but yeah the majority of people I encounter seem to have their own issues. It is not like they are all paragons of normalcy and virtue. I see a lot of NT behavior I would not want to emulate. Even the most well-intentioned people can be invasive, pushy, and boorish and seem to have no consideration for how they are coming across to me. So the implication that I might need to learn "NT social skills" or learn to understand their ways better is preposterous. I feel like I have been spending my whole life being considerate of them and making allowances for their behavior.

Mr Xxx, a famous phrase that applies here is that only boring people get bored.
