Because for the last 2 years I have been pushing a boulder up a mountain only to we it slide back down just as I'm nearly at the top. I'm sick of playing Sisyphus. I'm tired of fighting. That's why.

been doing it for 7, just got tossed from the office, lost the trade show spot and other fun things, all in one day, so yeah, know the feeling. Hang in there.

That's kind of like I feel too :( Although, I've been fighting much longer than two years. I have little will to live, to go on. I tried to take my life once: pills, didn't work out, well obviously, duh... Really, really tired. I don't remember ever being happy and last several years were a living hell. Although, there is a small ray of hope now: I didn't know about AS until few months ago. Now I'm going to get tested, if it turns out to be AS I may have some options to improve my life. If not and if I get no clear answers, then probably... yeah, end of line.

No. I have too much to live for. I love and enjoy being with my family. I love my special intense interests---I have a lot of plans for them. I try to focus on the positives of life more than on the negatives.

I do feel very disinterested in things I used to like and in life in general. Having random suicidal thoughts here and there. The reason.. click on my name and read the 'wat should I do' thread I just made.

No, life is short enough as it is.

No, because that's what the bustards* want, and I'm not about to give them the satisfaction.

*Bustards, including floricans and korhaans, are large terrestrial birds mainly associated with dry open country and steppes in the Old World. They make up the family Otididae (formerly known as Otidae).

I'm not right now, but I've been hospitalized with suicidal ideation about 10x and I attempted last year by jumping off a bridge. I think I'm finally on the right meds.
