WOW. Some of the definitions were kind of funny. but this one is very offensive. Umm, excuse me, but someone has the disorder, and you make a joke out of it? THeres a REASON some people are a "social ret*d that no one likes". Thats not an explanation, its a description. I guess the person that wrote this was trying to be funny. Actually, I'll admit it, I did laugh at this, only because it IS so offensive, and it is so untrue that I can't take it seriously. I don't take myself seriously anyway.

A lot of people were offended.... what you must relieze is the people writing these have probably had only five minutes experience on the subject....( or have met someone saying they had AS that did not or they are unhappy with their own DX)... (most)Psychologists say it exists(if they have heard of it) and i say it exists... i would take the psychs word over someone with such a small amount of experience and i will take my own word over both (after all i am always right )

Considering how things typically are over there, I'm surprised there wasn't some sort of bizarre sexual act as a definition, or a person talking about "something totally awesome my friend Mike did".

As for being offensive... This is the internet. Angry over-compensating idiots are everywhere; that guy's most likely just projecting his own inadequacies. Letting it get to you is letting them win.

I don't take it personally if a baby drools on me. So I don't take it personally when stupid people call me "emo"--it's just another version of drool.

I have never heard of aspergers people being called emo. emo to me means dissillusioned skateboarders, aspergers is nerd or goth.

I do think their definitions for "Asperger's Syndrome" are offensive, but most people are stupid anyway.

There's one for "Neurotypical", one for "Neurotypicality" and one for "NT".

I didn't find that offensive at all. I mean, that's what Urban Dictionary is for: To criticize everything from your own viewpoint.
I may not agree with what those people have to say, but I don't have a problem with it in the least. They're talking about AS, yeah, but you know what? I know that, while they're talking about a group that I belong to, they're not talking about me specifically, so I needn't be offended. Really, I don't see why you guys even care.
