Um, neither? I've never even heard of a bubble tube before.

What's with all these "bubble tube" topics? A week ago I had never heard this term and now everyone's asking about them here.

Lol I had to google it to find out what it was. I do love them, I actually used to have one when I was younger! (after reading this I almost want to get another one haha)

Hmm, not really. Not as much as lava lamps or one of those static electricity thingys. I have this device in my room that projects the constellations onto my ceiling. Now that gets me gazing at it for hours.

I saw a fluorescent-colored lit one at Sears once and it was pretty cool, but I wasn't "addicted to it". I did have a tornado lamp once but the novelty wore off as soon as I owned it.

I once had a 'Pet Tornado' in a glass. That was cool. I accidently spilled out the formula so made another one with dish washing liquid.

I think the OP is referring to one of these:

If that is correct than yes, I do love bubble tubes and the only reason Iam not addicted is because I do not yet have one. I will be getting one as soon as I have money for one!

Those do look kind of interesting. Also quite easy to make. If one of those catches my daughter's eye I'll have to talk to her technomage father about making one for her.
