By the human race I have been mocked, ridiculed and rejected regardless of what I have done to be a kind person.

How do I stop myself from growing to hate them?

You need to convince yourself that they are just ignorant, they don't mean to be so evil, and there is some good in the human race, and some good within everyone.

Don't go out of your way to seek social approval. That doesn't require you to hate everyone. Be yourself and if people don't like you that's their problem.

We're all going to die. Tell yourself that this is all a blip on the existential radar.

It is hard to see the good in the human race when you are rejected by it everywhere you go.

But when you are completely alone, with no family, no friends it is hard as I wonder what it is about me that makes me so unlikeable to everyone that no one wants to be my friend.

I am supposed to go for CBT soon and I just know they will try to get me to change the thoughts like 'no one loves me'' when in reality, actually, no one does love me. How am I supposed to believe that people love me when no one does?

You are not alone - God exists and He loves you.

No he doesn't or I wouldn't be living in hell.

Maybe you put yourself there by worrying about what other people think of you, instead of what God thinks?

Let's be honest:
some unknowable, judgmental being for whom not a scrap of empirical evidence exists isn't the best of comfort for someone who is utterly-alone and feels unlikable

Are you sure people actively hate you or are they more apathetic towards you instead?

You say let's be honest and then make a questing begging statement. How do you know that God is unknowable? Billions of people claim to know He exists. Are they all being dishonest?

How can God be unknowable and judgmental? If he's unknowable then he's unknowable.

Your argumentum ad populums aside,
"knowledge" has a specific definition, and what you're describing isn't it.

Moreover, your own personal religious leanings apparently aren't shared by OP,
so continuing with this discussion is tantamount to gratuitous preaching.

Let's get back to the topic at hand.

Apparently you think placing the word knowledge in sneer quotes suffices as an argument. And you didn't explain how God could be unknowable and judgmental.

I was on-topic before you interjected and claimed there is no evidence for God's existence (and by implication that I was dishonest). It's your questing-begging line of argument and your failure to see who derailed the thread that is dishonest.

It's ok, I used to believe in a god as I was raised christian but lost my faith.

The notion of a god no longer seems viable to me and it is making less and less logical sense as the years go by. But all are welcome to their opinion. I am non judgemental in that way.

Take it to PPR.
