Does an online Aspie-Radio exists? Would any Aspies team up to do a online radio station about Asperger dealing with life issues and playing music, tune in skype-callers asking questionsa and doing some online call-converences about special issues or special interrests etc.?

Strange I cannot find any broad topic online aspie radio station.

So this stays a idea!

Well, If I would speak better english, more fluent, I would start building a onlien radio myself for international listeners all over the world.

Sounds a really good idea!

I've been involved with setting up a online radio for my University previously and I'm currently in the process of assisting with setting up another online radio for a campus of the same university.

If you want a hand with this then let me know.

would it not be easier for Wrong Planet to assemble such a online radio? Every state and every country where we got members from could join and talk online about a topic, about issues within interviews or whatever. Live shows on the internet radio of Aspies and Autists, parents and friends, as well specialists. Sureplaying musics with a topic. have some hours Gothic, Country, Blues, Gospel, Rock, Metal etc. with having a topic and some info about it what it is for Aspies to listen to such music. Even a possibility could be self-made music getting On Air from music playing aspies. Running a contest with voting who plays best music of a style... whatever...

Ich glaube, dass es wunderbar ist, denn wir mussen gemeinsam sein. Asperger ist ein Segen, und wir sollten stolz sein, um uns von der Masse abheben.

In other words, I agree. There should be a radio programme or something. It must be, however, difficult to make it part of the worldwide aspie community. For instance, I'm Spanish. How much would a cost to USA be worth? And on the other hand, there's the timing issue too. Nevertheless, I'm up for more ideas concerning this wonderful possibility of us aspies making ourselves be heard.

well it would come together with a website where every program part can be downloaded later on. So we would have a 24hrs. programm because the world even for us aspies is round and we are all over the place.

So if you missed a show, just download the backup of it. But some aspies do not sleep when nypicals do and can join shows online at the evening, night or early morning when it is with some of one country where it is still daytime...

It would not cost much - nothing when we have commercials or whatever. Does it need a big server to run a online radio? I have no idea, no clue about it.

What will cost some money is playing music. The GEMA will collect some like from any other radio station...

So, we have to think about how to get this money for being allowed to play music.
