I quote things a lot. Sometime they are things I think everyone will get but people tell me how high brow the quote was. For example, the other day I said "I bite my thumb at you sir" to someone, and they didn't get it.
My mom taught literature, so my childhood was full of quoting Shakespeare, Ts Eliot poems, Waiting for Godot and lots of other things that we to this day will go off about. Other people have NO idea!
Anyway, I love to quote things. It is way easier to converse with small quotes and repeated phrases if someone understands it. I love funny movie things, if it makes me laugh I will go around saying it for weeks, months, after. I love it when someone else gets it and we say it to each other over and over and over and over.
I watched the Hangover 2 in early December and I cannot stop saying "OH my word!" because Zach Galifianakis said it in a really funny way.
The only trouble I have with it, is that that sometimes I don't understand what something means, so I think it means one thing, and if I say it meaning that, and people are like" Um... I dont think that means what you think it means" hehe. oops!
