So, I would like to know this one thing. Until recently, I was pretty much convinced that I had some schizoid disorder, and that I was hallucinating. Now I'm not so sure.
My cat has recently had fleas, and there are fleas still living in my house, and occasionally, one of them gets on me. I can feel it. I always feel the lightest touch, if something disturbs a hair on my arm, I feel it. If a flea lands on my foot, I feel it. First question, is, is this an Aspie thing? I have insanely acute hearing, and I smell everything, including minor smells/sounds that most don't notice. Included in this acute sensory business is that weird ability to feel everything that touches me, even the slightest, I guess. Does anyone else have this?
Second thing; after knowing that a flea/spider/mosquito/bug has landed on me in any situation, I can feel the same feeling even though nothing's there, on different parts of my body. I had thought it was tactile hallucinations, but could it possibly be a sensory overreaction?
Um, sorry if this sounds weird.
