I got my paperwork back and while he didn't exactly diagnose me, I don't think (that's where I'm confused) he said that based on the tests I'm in the highly probable range for Asperger's. Posting what I think may be relevant, if you have more questions, I have the papers and will answer them. I realize that this is long, but any help is greatly appreciated :hail: as I'm just as confused now as I was before. He mailed them to me since he was going to be out of the office so much for the holidays and I would've been waiting months to get back in to see him.

"As assessed by the KBIT-2, this examinee is currently functioning in the upper part of the average range (90-109) of cognitive abilities, overall (KBIT-2 IQ Composite= 107). She performed comparably on reasoning subtests involving verbal skills (Standard Score=106) and a nonverbal reasoning subtest involving matrices (Standard Score=105). The IQ Composite of 107 placed this individual at the 68th percentile.
On the GADS, which is a self-report measure of symptopms associated with Asperger's Disorder, she produced scores which were a little above average oon all four subscales, and her overall score was at the 75th percentile which is characterized as being in the high/probable range for Asperger's Disorder. A further breaskdown of GADS subscale is as follows: (range= 1-19; average range= 8-11; high average range= 12-13).

Subscale- Social Interaction ... Standard Score- 11
Sub.- Restricted Patterns of Behavior ... SS- 11
Sub.- Cognitive Patterns ... SS-11
Sub.- Pragmatic Skills ... SS- 13

Asperger's Disorder Quotient= 110 (75th percentile)

Anyway, then it goes on some about depression and anxiety and then this- I understand Axis III and IV, so I'm not putting those.---
Diagnostic Impression-
Axis I: Major Depressive Disorder, Recurrent, Moderate (296.32)
Anxiety Disorder NOS (300.0)
R/O Aspergers Disorder (299.80)

Axis II-
Deferred (799.9)

Axis V: Current GAF= 50-55

To me, the listing of Asperger's under Diagnostic Impression seems to indicate a diagnosis of Asperger's. Did the psych say that he diagnosed you with Asperger's?

I haven't been able to ask him, I got these in the mail, or I would have had to wait months. I did my IQ testing and then the Asperger's testing and then left.

You should call him up and ask him what he is trying to communicate in this report. What does R/O mean?
