I hate doing laundry so for about a month and a half a few years ago I just didn't do any when my clothes were dirty. So my parents proceeded to make fun of me about hit hoping that I would do laundry. A study was done were a group of people wore the same clothes for 7 months straight. The amount of bacteria was the same at the end, so if you don't get clothes to where they are dirty are can they actually get dirty? why do you have to wash a shirt after only wearing it once. Except for socks, if you where those twice I have found it feels gross

I once wore the exact same pair of jeans for about a year without washing them. They ended up feeling.. gummy? is the only way I can think to describe it. I tried to wash them finally, and they would not go back to even close to normal.. had to throw them out.

Who ever said you had to?

It all depends upon the situation. For something like an interview/funeral/wedding only a fresh clean shirt will do.

But yes, socks and underwear must be washed aster wearing once for me and most other things will last until they look obviously dirty or crumpled.

I usually where the same pair of jeans for a week straight and just switch between 2 hoodies.
Think its funny how my brother looks like a hipster or something, buys expensive clothes and cares about making it into an outfit. I couldn't give a crap

I love to feel clean, the one thing i hate the feel of is brushing my teeth, I hate doing it, but love having clean teeth, a lot of the time when I'm brushing them I retch. It's horrible

Yeah, it's hard for me to care about laundry much outside of clean underwear. I'll wear the same shirt for a week if i can get away with it.

I shower like 3 times a day though. It's a compulsion.

Sometimes I don't have the energy to do what I need to do but it's not out of control just frustrating. I try my hardest so it's not like I'm okay with going a week without doing laundry.

Really, it depends on the season and how much you sweat. If it's cold and I'm wearing a pullover over top of a t-shirt, I'll change the t-shirt every day but wear the same pullover several days before washing it.

I enjoy my hot daily bath. I like being clean.

I'll skip a day showering sometimes if I'm not doing anything for the day, but if I go out I always like to be clean.

I probably smell like a troll lol......because not only do I not feel the need to wash most clothing items after wearing them once unless its socks or underwear but I forget as well. So I might forget to change my socks for a couple days, forget about doing laundry when I need to and then be stuck trying to dig semi clean clothes that don't smell too bad out of my laundry basket.

I've been wearing these jeans for two weeks now, I wear the same tee shirt for 4 days, and I'll probably be wearing this black long sleeve buttoned shirt for a week, I shower every other day.

This isn't because I don't care, it's actually part of my mental problems - I have something called avolition: a lack of motivation, if I didn't have eczema (which forces me to scrub my skin every other day) I'd probably shower every three days.

That said I look quite clean

My clothes only go in the wash when they get stained. I only go in the shower when my naturally blonde hair goes brown. Occasionally I get in the shower for the sake of it or when my Mum comes over. I work in a rodent room at work so I am not really that bothered about smells!

I change clothes every other day, and shower everyday. I also brush my teeth every morning, and use a very strong smelling mouthwash. I'm very paranoid about hygiene, so I wash obsessively to avoid feeling dirty/seeming unclean to others. I often use stick deodorant, and put patchouli oil on my clothes to make myself smell awesome.
