Lately depression has caused a new problem in me excessive anxiety and probably anxiety induced mutism. I have noticed I have trouble talking to my dates which is new. I've been meeting someone who expressed some dissatisfaction in me not being expressive and communicative. I have never had that happen before. I mean previously the first date was a little awkward but it got better after that. Now I have trouble like even on the third date. How do you help your anxiety and alleviate it?

Everyone has their own personal ways of dealing with anxiety. For me personally, classical music is a huge help and really does wonders, it completely melts a lot of my stress away! Hiking and exercise also work really well for me. A lot of people also practice yoga, deep breathing exercises, and meditation...all of these are really good strategies as well.

This would hardly help WHILE on a date, but I find that counting currency (coins) is pretty good for killing my anxiety.
