Just wondering if anyone here has this diagnosis.
I'm very interested in how similar it is to autism, yet how different it is as well. I have some traits the are the complete opposite of AS and some that are very purely autistic and nothing else.
I fit in very well with this profile, even have the weak left side of the body that's described.
I am not at all a visual thinker like many Aspies...definitely an auditory/verbal learner.
I live on my own planet and have been described as eccentric and weird like many Aspies are but am not lacking in areas like reading facial expressions or emotions (at least on a practical level).
Anyone here similar? I feel like more women might be this way but am interesting in hearing from the men too.

I have many similar characteristics of NLVD, but I have a hypoxic brain injury to the right side of the brain. That causes very similar symptoms.
I dare guess that NLVD may very well be caused by a hypoxic brain injury, it seems to match the signs for it. Idk, my current special interest is brain neurology, especially non-NT neurophysiology.

Yep, I have NVLD, I have traits that sorta manifest like AS, including the special interest thing, but my official DX is NVLD and schizoid. However, at the time, I was not actually looking for a diagnosis, today I might get diagnosed AS.
