Have an appt today with doc to talk about aspergers

This afternoon I have an appointment with my doc to talk about testing to rule in/out aspergers and/or learning disabilities and/or something else.

I am excited and nervous. I really like this doc and unlike my old doc who entertained the idea of Aspergers for a while I think this doc will look into it more. Having an Aspergers diagnosis would make so much sense and tidy up my diagnosis cluster as well as make sense of so many things in the past and present.

I talked on the phone to my mom last night and explained some of this to her and she thinks you have to be stupid to have a learning disability or something else "wrong" with you. She just doesn't get it.
