On certain posts one (I believe is an admin) has expressed that opinions not coinciding with creation theory or something similar should not be allowed here, expressly philosophy, certain dirty words, and various other apparently anti-christian views, I don't understand, did I get the wrong message from your words? Am I not allowed to express my opinions?

Free speech is surely the very point of a forum

You are perfectly allowed to express your beliefs, as long as it is not attacking other members or people groups here. Dirty words weren't allowed here when I checked last. Remember, the moderators and administrators have the final say in what is acceptable and what is not.

For your own good, I suggest you heed them.

Of course, and I haven't insulted anyone, or used vulgarity, I was simply asking after seeing a certain statement..

It doesn't bother me at all if people post anti-Christianity views or even anti-Christian views. I just think it's a bit sad that people in the U.S. seem to be torn by a huge political and ideological rift between Christians and non-Christians that doesn't exist so much in other countries.

I've survived here quite well as an atheist.

But even when questioning beliefs, I do try to be respectful to the people holding them.
Personal insults don't really belong here, or anywhere.

There are times I think that the anti-Christians are being given a very generous amount of leeway in terms of what they can post on this forum.

I am not an administrator. I was merely expressing what ought to be rather than what is.

I am a Christian and I think everyone is entitled to their own opinion views. I may not agree with it, but I am not narrow minded either. As long as people don't attack people for their views or beliefs.

Agreed. Everyone has their right to have thier own opinion, even if I may not agree with it. As long as people are respectful towards me, I will be towards them, and even if they are not, I still will try to be.

These days, I am nothing when it comes to religion. Can't even say I'm an agnostic! So... on a personal basis, I take no offense to Christian/Anti-Christian comments.

Still, it is a good idea to be aware that there are Christians on these forums, when push comes to shove.

I don't know where you got the idea that this place is anti-anti-Christian. We have a heck of a lot of agnostics here; do you think they'd feel at home if it were? Just a few weeks ago, we had someone ask whether we were prejudiced against homosexuals, which also threw me for a loop. Maybe a troll or two might say something like that, but not the regular members.

We Aspies know what prejudice is like; and we're less likely than most to practice it. Even those of us who are prejudiced against NTs seem to be working through that anger... and the NTs, for the most part, aren't doing a thing to be more congenial.

Free speech is surely the very point of a forum

I'd have to see those posts.
Personally, I think we should refrain from posting "anti-" anything. From there, it's just a short distance to hate speech. Post what you're for. Just because a given belief appears stupid doesn't mean you have to point that out.
Free speech is the very point of a forum. You also have the right to remain silent.

I'm 99.9% I never bashed any Christians here.

So lets STOP this theoretical discussion.

If you feel you read hate or offensive things from members that are STILL active
here. Then post the links here. Do not post links from people like EMP he left WP
or from banned people.

I think all this theoretical talk of the evil here at WP is basically trolls trying to destroy
WP.

My God unless someone deletes your post, bans you, or 51% of the posters bash you
(when 51% of the people in the real world would not) how can you say WP harmed you?

I mean a reasonable adult can use his words and action to defend himself.

In the earily days of Christian church in the Roman Empire. The Christain were often
giving a choice renoice their faith or be put to death. Most all choose death. That
inspired many non-Christain to convert be cause of the strenght of these Christains.
And as you know the Roman Empire became the Holy Roman Empire (Christain) after
that the force of Christain Church across the world grew.

Are people who are complaing about misstreatment on WP of the same metal as the
earily Christain? And will they inspire others of the strenght of the Church. Or in fact are
their action here turning people off from the Christian Church?

The topic starter was complaining that he felt that he was being censored if he made ANTI-Christian statements NOT that he was offended by ppl making ANTI-Christian statements. He stated he was an atheist or agnostic if i'm not mistaken. And the other person complaining that ppl where attacking his free speech said he was a wiccan or satanist (unless he was joking about that).
