I got accused of being too technical. A friend texted me something and a minute later I replied back. He didn't reply til the next day and said he was on the way to a sporting event. I sarcastically replied that he must of have gotten pretty far in a minute to not text back. He said I was being technical.
I think that I can't handle excuses, white lies, or whatever else to replace what he really means. Obviously he had other important things to do besides talk to me, so instead of just saying that, he replied with a white lie.
Does anyone else get bothered by this?
I tend to treat message boards, e-mail, instant messaging and SMS texts as not-the-same as speaking face-to-face or over a telephone, so I actually feel more disturbed by others treating these as time-sensitive.
