Yes I am unbelievably dumb, please could someone instruct how to upload images onto the forum?

Also!I have tried to change my avatar for a picture but don't seem to achieve this either! Could anyone advise.

Hmmm... I was having trouble uploading from my pc onto this site yesterday, and today again. I finally just went to Imageshack http://imageshack.us/ and uploaded to their site, then linked my avatar to the URL of the image (right-click, properties)...

Yeah, uploading hasn't seemed to be functioning. I ended up having to link to an image hosted elsewhere.

If having trouble uploading a new avatar image makes you "unbelievably dumb", then you're in good company here. There was a long message thread about this a few months ago; apparently they still haven't fixed the problem. Someone posted a message offering to host your image on his Photobucket account, which led me to create my own Photobucket account, so I haven't had any trouble with my avatar since.

Something else that doesn't seem to be working is HTML coding to modify your sig! And all I want to do is change the color - normally not something hard to do - but it just doesn't seem to want to work!!

Awsome!! ! I've been trying to figure this out for months. Ecverytime I tried to change it I would get the dreaded red X. Finally, I got this to work. Thanks DrowningMedusa.
