How am I to meet new NT people ?

I enjoy socialising with people but on weekends I hardly ever go to places like bars, pubs and clubs as I don't like those places anyway, I've been on some dating sites and I barely get anyone talking to me, or sending me messages when I've sent them messages except views on my profile and that's it. I tried Meetup but still couldn't find places that interested me. There were some book clubs but they only have social gatherings about one particular book and I have very varied interests. I did meet someone just by talking to them in a shop and getting their phone number. I haven't spoken to them for a while since and lost contact with them. I haven't had hardly any luck socialising like that for a while.

I am actually indifferent to bars/pubs, but I went to one for a party my cousin was having and I still thought it was fun.

I mainly meet people through board games, and card games like Magic: The Gathering. I'm not a fan of bars, pubs, etc, because they don't feel that safe to me and I don't like totally random people.

I'm in a book club, too, but as long as I like that month's book, it's okay if I don't like them all or it's once a month. I imagine it starts to pay off after you've been to a few meetings.

Find people who share similar interests with you and try get to know them well.

IMO, it should not matter if new people you become friends with are NT or Aspie because we're all human in our own individual right.

Why NT? Why not just new people in general?
