Kind of a spinoff off of the eye dominance thread.

Just curious how common this is among Spectrumites.

My left eye is lazy. ell, not anymore, really. I had an operation at around age 5 and the again later but my right eye is still dominant, to the extent that I can notice, anyway.

Wondering WHICH eye is dominant among most Aspies or if there is a lot of variance.

My right eye is my weak eye...I think!

I have convergence issues along with intermittent exotropia (so an occasional lazy eye).

I had amblyopia. I have read that it is neurologically based and has a higher incidence in people on the spectrum. Here's a link.

I remember being drug around to the eye doctor when I was little, got glasses at age 3, and the word "lazy eye" was mentioned alot. Can't tell you the official DX on that, as they didn't exactly consult me, just my parents told me "lazy eye". I am also left eye dominant when I shoot (lol, well, all the time really, huh?) I had to order a left-hand bow

Yup, another left eye dominant here. I can remember doing eye exercises when I was a kid to keep my right eye from falling further behind; they seem to have worked.

My eyes both function normally, except I'm able to move them together or independently, so I can point them in different directions if I wish. I rarely do it though, because it's supposed to be bad for your eyes.

^ Like an iguana? Cool. 8)

My left eye tends to wander off on it's own (direction), especially when I'm spacing out. I can see out of my left eye, but it's harder, I guess from lack of use. I haven't had my vision checked in about 20 years, though, so I can only guess what's going on with my left eye.

I had glasses made up a few times when when I was in my 20's, but my prescription kept frequently changing in random ways. The last optometrist I saw just told to me to buy some reading glasses, so that's what I've been doing ever since.

I'm just long sighted but my Tourettes makes my eyes the oposite of lazy, hence I keep making typos at the moment because I can't see what I am writing!
