my mum often doesn't respond to my questions on FB

And I try calling her to ask. Why won't she answer them? I'm confused and anxious.

Mine friended my sister and not me. Sometimes, what people do is inexplicable. Can you just tell yourself people get swamped, you don't know for sure why, and communicate a different way with her?

Oh well, I look forward to getting off from work and taking some Benadryl and going to sleep. I have less than 2 hours.

Maybe she doesn't want to talk to the same person ALL the time, despite it being her child? I don't talk to my parents all the time :)

If you worry about your mother like this maybe you could get the information of her neighbors so if one day she doesn't answer again you could have them check on her?

-I'm assuming you check on your mom due to some health issue or something. If this is just a random 'she's not answering' maybe she's just busy or out with a friend? Hope she's ok :)
