Hey, just checking in to see if any of you hipsters out there have an iPhone, and have you found that using Siri is especially helpful to you with your lack of organizational skills?

Is Siri helpful with keeping you on track for assignments, appointments, waking up daily, remembering obligations, etc.?

I prefer to do the tasks manually. I don't feel up to talking with my phone yet.

I dont really know how siri works because I dont have an iphone but I saw one of the managers at work playing around with siri attempting to call someone and siri didn't seem to work very well. Cause she couldn't hear correctly what my manager was saying. Siri was like, "did you say ___________" or "did you say __________". It would take longer to use siri then to actually call the person yourself. I suppose a program like that would work well for a person on the spectrum if it worked efficiently.

I have just got a 4, so no Siri. A good smartphone with reminders / calendar is essential for me and means I no longer forget appointments. This has been the best improvement to my organisation ever..

Siri looks as though it'll make it much easier to set location based reminders (when I get to X remind me to do Y) which would help me out a lot, just far too fiddly without Siri though..

The trick with most voice recognition stuff is to use the headsets... Showing off a voice recognition system never works too well with all the background noise..

I love my iThings..

Siri doesn't recognise all accents. It's very hard to get it to understand an Australian accent. I do fine with my simple Android To Do List app. It even has a section for grocery shopping and I can add a widget to my home screen.
