In my world I'm chatting with all the scientists I like sometimes, and sometimes I'm roaming around places I've been Like Minnesota or Paris, with no one else there, maybe taking an imaginary friend with me. It's the place where I have friends that are perfect. Not that people are supposed to be perfect. Or are they? Or is it me? Or is it them. Yeah. This is exactly why I like my world.

I love my inner world, which I've experienced from very early childhood. For the past 25 years, the same 10 or so people have lived in it; it's like a long running drama at this point. I experience emotions through the people and it's the only place I've ever felt pure interpersonal bonds. I think each person in my world channels certain of my emotions; for example, the storyline gets dramatic and focused on one person in particular when I am dealing with sensory overload. It is the place I go when I need to process the external world in peace.

Its gotten a bit sparse, of late. I used to feed it with stuff from my favorite fantasy novels, but I've slowed down on that.
These days its often just my Past (which I need to stop reflecting on so much) or stuff relating to my hobbies. Sometimes though, I still imagine myself as an crashed alien stranded on Earth. I don't think I'm alone in that one! :P

Sincerely,
Matthew

My inner world often changes. If I'm sad it's a dark, cold place that's oddly beautiful. If I'm happy it's a playful, carefree place that's a little weird. There are usually a few other people, but sometimes I'm the only one there. I usually explore it, watch it, or use it to think about anything I want to think about. Sometimes it's depressing, but I usually like it :)

Not exactly sure what constitutes as one, but I guess I find myself, more often than not, nowadays, daydreaming more so than anything else. Nothing ever really consistent or specific.

I am always in my own world, I have been like that since I was a child, I feel safe in there when this harsh world gives me a hard time, mum calls it day dreaming, but I can be in my own world for a long time.

My inner world is Roleplaying on MSN Messenger for the past 10 years, sometimes for days in a row. Then I think about what was created in my sleep and then post my ideas for the Roleplay when I wake up.

My inner world was vibrant when I was younger. Now, it's less so. Maybe living has worn my imagination down.

Once a co-worker said, "I'll bet you have a rich inner world." He barely knew me, and that comment disturbed me at the time. What had he tuned into or seen?

Oh, I certainly match my Inner World to my emotions. When I had a major depression back in my Senior year in High School., it was a very dark, grim place, where I often chose to play an evil character. Or a victim.
Its much better to visit since those days.
Oh, I get there daydreaming & often when I Stim..

Sincerely,
Matthew
