I was going to Google something and got extremely annoyed  Every time I start typing something out, Google's little suggestions pop up. I hate that. Let me finish what the hell I am trying to type out. On the other side of the coin, I like doing that just to see what other people are searching for. Like, "How do I...." and then the suggestions come and they are interesting. But I just feel that Google sometimes is trying to hurry me along.

Bad day I guess  Emotions are high today.

^Sorry to hear that khaos. Anything you want to share with us?

Yeah, Google can drive me buggy sometimes, too. Especially those suggestions, when I'm trying to fix my search terms by placing them between quotation marks. Sometimes, I'll accidentally press up or left, and I'll end up with a Google suggestion in the search window that I have no use for. Grr.

Yeah exactly! I hate when that happens!

I looked up "Why is it called a lazy susan" My mom has one and I've always wondered and wanted to look it up BUT if you start out with just "Why is..." you'll find all sorts of funny suggestions like why is my poop green. Ewww...they put those up there because they are asked a lot. I wonder HOW many people have asked that for it to make the top suggestions lol.

Yes, I hate that too...
Can anyone recall the times when you actually had the chance to press the search button or the "I'm Feeling Lucky!" button? Nowadays it just directs you to search results - I hate it when something just interfers with my intentions. Can't that website just wait for once and let ME decide when the search shall begin?
Thanks goodness the Mozilla Firefox starting page using Google doesn't do that, I just press Alt+Pos1, no need for the "real" google.com...

Is anyone else familiar with the feature where, if you type 'do a barrel roll' into Google, it actually does a barrel roll?

Problem is, if you type in a search term that starts with the word 'do', Google is automatically going to flip on you that way. I find it just a wee bit disorienting tbh. I mean, I'm a Starfox fan, and I liked it when I first saw it, but now it's kind of old.

Yep, I'm familiar with it. Another reason why I prefer Firefox' Google page.

Do a barrel roll... wasn't that first mentioned by Peppy in the asteroid belt in Starfox 64/Lylat Wars? Then the sound of him saying it somehow became a meme, if I recall correctly. :)

I kind of like the easter eggs. They come and go! But some of them are neat.

I do miss hitting the feeling lucky button!

I remember the secret path through the waterfall. When I discovered that... this was soooo cool. 8)
Time to re-connect my N64 to my TV and beat my highscores. :D

I'm pretty sure there is a way to turn that off. I remember google doing that to me once or twice and finding a way to turn it off.
