Has anybody read this? I bought it the other day not knowing what it was about (the blurb doesn't reveal much), so was surprised to realise a few chapters in that the protagonist is the imaginary friend of an autistic boy. The words "autism" or "Asperger's" haven't actually been used yet, but it's obvious he's autistic from the way the imaginary friend describes him (not understanding sarcasm, having to go to a special class, having a detailed imagination, not liking to be touched etc).

I think it's a pretty new book so I thought I'd just mention it here in case any of you are interested. :)

As someone on the autistic spectrum who has imaginary friends, I would absolutely love to read that! :D

Makes me wonder how my imaginary friends view me... :chin:

I've seen a few reviews and such that specifically say that Max has Aspergers.

I use to have an imaginary friend named Ghosty.

Your idea sounds interesting since it would appeal to me.
