Wondering if anybody has any weird, strange or rare ailments to go along with AS. I have episodic cluster headaches. Not too common, especially for women.

I get dazed out a lot. Almost like I`m lost in a trance, even when I`m having conversations.

Yeah, I also get tremors from a combination of my meds and my anxiety. I pick my skin and eyebrow hairs a lot.

Me too. I can actually see the static in my brain when I'm trying to listen to someone.

i have essential tremor and mild psoriasis and another mental health diagnosis. oh, yeah, and overactive bladder, fun stuff. i'm building up to glaucoma. none of it is disabling or life-threatening save from stigma, so i count myself as in not excellent, but very good, health.

I have chronic depersonalization, mood issues. Some issues with entering doors of unfamiliar places. But nothing out of the ordinary...

Nope. Everything I have is pretty standard.

I have Fibromyalgia, which is an overactive nerve damage disease. So when I get stressed out due to AS my Fibro kicks in overdrive. What a great combo!

i'm not sure how they relate to AS, but i have occasional aural migraines, in which in one side of another, an octave-wide band of frequencies centered at 1 kilocycle is replaced by a welter of spurious metallic grinding/chirping noises. also, ever since i could remember, i've seen people's "faces" in the faces of analog clocks, IOW a certain juxtaposition of the second/minute/hour hands equals a particular person's face which appears superimposed or mixed together with the actual optical image of the clockface.

I am an evolutionary throwback [occurring in less than 1% of the population] as I have a pair of extra ribs in my cervical spine. 8)

I've got an extra nipple, which I used to think was a tiny mole, but now that I know what it is, it's really obvious. I also have some extra breast tissue, which I can feel on my ribs (but it isn't obvious to look at). I was also born with a hole in the skin at the bottom of my spine, which is residual from when our ancestors had tails. BTW The hole in my skin is the only one I would call an ailment, because I had to have an operation to correct it.

every now and then, when working on my old w98se puter with a noisy power supply, i can hear "the music of the spheres" in the whining whirr of the powersupply rotors/fan.

AS is out of the ordinary enough (that's the narrowly defined AS. What's that, one in several thousand?).

^What he said. AS is a strange ailment of one.
Also weird bowels and prone to all kinds of headache, tension, migraine, cluster, etc. I think I might need a checkup at the opticians.

I wanted to insert the word "other" by ailments, I just didn't want to offend anyone :)

I have one kidney, one of them had to be removed when I was young.

I have other medical problems but most of them are caused by my life style
I also have no health care so many of my problems are undiagnosed.
