Aspie Quiz at rdos.net directs here. Help?
Hi. I took the rdos dot net Aspie-quiz
It says its forum has closed and it suggests this WrongPlanet is a place for answers.
I wish to understand the test results. Takers?
Here is one example table:
#..Choice Aspie NT Question
1....0....0.00..1.62 Do you tend to get so absorbed by your special interests that you forget or ignore everything else?
2....1....0.91..0.27 Do you or others think that you have unconventional ways of solving problems?
3....1....0.91..0.27 As a child, was your play more directed towards, for example, sorting, building, investigating or taking things apart than towards social games with
other kids?
4....1....0.61..0.00 Do you have an avid perseverance in gathering and cataloguing information on a topic of interest?
5....1....1.02..0.00 Do you need periods of contemplation?
6....2....2.03..0.00 Do you notice patterns in things all the time?
7....2....2.23..0.00 Do you feel an urge to correct people with accurate facts, numbers, spelling, grammar etc., when they get something wrong?
8....0....0.00..0.54 Do you have one special talent which you have emphasised and worked on?
9....1....0.51..0.00 Do you tend to notice details that others do not?
....8/16..3/3
What do the numbers mean? How can question 7 have an average for 2.23?
What is the 8/16 and the 3/3?
Thanks.
the way i interpreted this when i took the test, was that the "aspie" score was the average score from people that mentioned they were diagnosed at the start, and the "NT" score the same for the ones that mentioned they were NT.
as for the "question" score, that would be the average of all test takers, perhaps a weighted average.
the average above 2 could be becouse weighted averages are used, that sometimes averages above the regular max score.
as for the 8/16 and 3/3, that's the 'hit' score, you matched the 'aspie' answer on 8 out 16 questions asked from the aspie vieuwpoint, and 3/3 from the NT standpoint (see the difference between "i get drained by socialising" and "socialising is relaxing for me" for the difference in vieuwpoints)
