Firstly, I know I'm not verbal because I have a language delay.
I know I am a visual learner, I need to be able to see it to understand it or visualize it on some level.
I'm good at seeing patterns.
But, I don't think I'm very good at maths?
Idk, how to tell if I'm good at maths :I
I know, I'm good at algebra e.t.c
But sometimes, I find it hard to problem solve in given situations, unless I can visualise it on some level.
I'm really good at science and maths applied to it so.. o_0

How do I tell ?
I took some cat tests but I wasnt paying attention so the results are flawed... so.

If you have any kind of language delay you automatically do NOT have Asperger's.
Asperger's has no language delay...so it would either be HFA or PDD-NOS.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

This is my understanding. The main difference between HFA and Aspergers is the language delay.

Ehh... Don't worry about it. You'll probably have a lot in common with people scattered all over the spectrum, with all kinds of labels.

As for what the doctors call it--you're probably categorized as classic autism because you had a language delay, if you have enough other symptoms to fit the bill. If you have only a few symptoms (they can be strong ones), you'd be called PDD-NOS, which is even more general a diagnosis than classic autism. Bottom line, you're autistic; which type doesn't really mean much.

I don't really think your academic interests are connected too heavily to your "type" of autism (if "types" of autism even really exist). But it's certainly good to be aware of what you like to do and what you're good at, since that will change which jobs you'll be looking into when you graduate.
