I think I know the rules:
1. You can pick your nose.
2. I can pick my nose.
3. But, I can not pick your nose.
4. And, you can not pick my nose.
5. We can not pick our own nose in public.
6. However, I can pick your nose if I know you are under two years old.

I got it from a cute wall poster about 25 years ago.

For some reason boogers, blood, vomit, and poop does not bother me. I wanted to know if it bothers people on the spectrum. It does not bother my NT or autistic kid.

I find it disgusting, something a monkey would do. Worse part is it will taste it. Come to think of it, everything you mention a monkey does.

Edit:- vomit & poop might not bother you for 3 reasons. One I can not probably say, starts with a F & the other is because you had kids. Like a person who works in cleaning or down the sewers.

I pick my own nose and I remember starting a thread here asking if anyone swallows their snot. Someone told me she thinks that thread got shut down but she couldn't remember. That was years ago when I made it.

Wait, I pick my son's nose and he hates it but I can't stand seeing boogers hanging up there. But I would never pick someone's nose but it's different for my kid for some reason.

Vomit- my little sister pukes usually once on a long car ride. So if we are going to somewhere 2 hours away and back the next day she is probably going to puke one of those times. At my house when she was younger if she started to spit up you just help her over the wooden floor.

Well it's your kid, if you mean you pick his nose with a finger & you know it will restrict breathing, I would probably use something to wipe it rather than picking it with my finger. If that's what you do.

Edit:- Do people not use tissues any more? & say blow your nose. As you can end up causing a nose bleed, with a finger.

Does she have motion sickness tablets?

Babies can breath through their mouth can they or through their other nostril when my finger is in the other?


My snot tastes like chicken so I like to sniff back and swallow it. I have been doing that since high school and it saves on tissue.

My parents usually just forget to not feed her for the few hours before they go on a trip. Which sounds kind of bad but she isn't skinny, she is not underfed at all lol. I think they looked into that kind of stuff and I don't think there was tablets for toddlers. She is 2 and a half.
