Socks. Feet. !
I have a love/hate relationship with socks. My feet are probably the most sensitive part of my body, and if my socks are uncomfortable, I am not happy. (Most of my sensory issues are tactile.) I have had thousands of pairs of socks; I have found about 5% tolerable. I have more problems with socks than with any other type of clothing.
I have such unhappy memories of uncomfortable socks, especially from when I was a kid and didn't have a lot of choice in which to wear. If they don't fit perfectly, or if there is something touching my foot that shouldn't, I am in complete agony and cannot think of anything else. I especially have problems with toe seams.
As for shoes, I only wear tennis shoes or flip-flops. Practicality and comfort are top priorities. I am completely unfeminine in that aspect. I can't imagine wearing different a different pair of shoes every day. I hardly ever wear women's shoes. (I think I own two pair now, and they are my least favorites.) High heels?
But I love socks! They are so irresistible.
What kind of socks do you wear? Shoes? Do you hate socks/shoes? Are your feet hyper- or hyposensitive? Are you okay with going barefoot?
(As for the last for me: only outside.)
