Or, more to the point, "figurative-foot-in-email" moment.

My father and uncle are engaged in an email debate about the Supreme Court decision concerning corporations having First Amendment rights. My uncle writes a comment about the overall case sounding like a metaphor and I decide to engage in a bit of smarmy, smart-ass writing to my uncle calling him out about a metaphor not being able to be decided by the Supreme Court.

I should point out that the emails are addressed to several extended-family members; my father corrected me on MY misunderstanding of the whole thing. I'm going to be hearing about this at Thanksgiving, for being the family jack-ass. s**t.

My NT sister can bite her toes, but I can't.

Sorry, I'm not really sure what the thread is about. You made a fool of yourself?

Why does he think this case sounds like a "metaphor"? Metaphor for what?

I darn near had one to day female customer said you're trying to f*** me you wouldnt do that to a man. Almost reponded by saying no I wouldnt f*** a man. My supervisor took over at just the right time. I think it would have been a lot harder to explain why the waranty didnt cover the problem if I had said that.
To be sure this is taken right I was saying that im not intrested in men not that I would deal dishonestly with any one.
