I hugs people instead of giving out the ol' handshake.

The only downside about it is that you attract attention for some reason.

The upsides are countless imo.

I'd think hugs are one of the things it is virtually impossible to like too much. I am definitely a hug-person, just so long as they're good and big and squishy, not those half-hearted affairs with vaguely hovering arms. :)

Nothing wrong, hugs are awesome!
I'm fond of smooching as well but some people are or aren't.

It's really just maintaining a tolerable boundary with the company you are with.

I do want a hug the most when I'm emotional, but that's quite normal in females. I don't mind hugs otherwise.

I love hugs, and often have to keep myself from reaching over and hugging friends completely randomly. Many people think I dislike hugs, because I suppose I look hesitant when they go to hug me, but that's only because I'm trying to prevent myself from hug attacking them.

I absolutely love to give and receive hugs. When I was a child, everyone thought it was cute, but as I got older I started to learn that not everyone likes to be hugged. People must (wrongly) think I don't like to hug because I never initiate it anymore out of fear that they won't like it.
