. . . cannot seem to move past mine. For some deranged reason, I constantly dwell on every mistake, no matter how large or small. Sometimes things from over a decade ago will haunt me for a day. It sucks. I still try hard every day (and objectively I'm doing quite well), but I feel like the past is always bringing me down. Stupid asperger's or stupid me?

Any advice?

Yeah, I do this too. Sometimes I even physically wince or groan quietly, if I feel it was a really stupid mistake. Even if it was decades ago. I do try not to, but it seems almost instinctive, so it requires me to be alert in order to stop myself reacting too badly to the memory. I'm better than I used to be. As for whether it's AS or not - I really don't know.
