Do you have problems with clothing you wear?

Sweetleaf's topic gave me an idea and I decided to ask what some of your prefreneces are for clothing.
For me, I hate tight clothing. I like clothing that has a loose fit. I also don't wear bras. I know that sounds kind of gross but the reason why is because I feel they are constricting. They become itchy and picky and extremely difficult to wear. -_______-; I also only prefer wearing skateboard shoes; so mind you I have never skateboarded in my life. I like skateboard shoes because they are loose and comfy and easier to take off. I also wear a lot of hoodies and my denim capris... only thing I wear. Sometimes I'll wear long knee socks with them... sure I look ridiculous but it doesn't bother me.
What about you?

I also wear skateboarding shoes because I seem to balance better when walking-I like loose and sometimes tight clothing-I like all 3 major styles of underwear I like loose shirts-hate neckties-also like hoodies and jeans-diddn't wear jeans for a long time but I like wearing them now. The brands I wear may not be marketed to my demographic but its comfortable and I like wearing it I will wear it.

Yep... same here. I always wear boxers. I'm a girl... but I wear boxers because they don't well... ride up. I also hate wearing belts because of how tight they are so if I wear other jeans, which by the way are men's because they are loose, they tend to fall down a lot.

I'm always wearing belts around my jeans. Otherwise the jeans would fall down. And I can't wear jeans another size lower because, well, I already wear the lowest size jeans available in Men's sizes.
I can wear almost any type of clothing, but once I decide to put something on I hate removing it. I can wear the exact same outfit for up to a month at a time, only taking it off to put it through the washer and dryer. For example, if I must put on a long formal gown, I will not take it off after the event. I will wear it for at least another week, or longer. Sure it looks ridiculous that I am walking my dog in a formal evening gown and running shoes, but too bad and no one can stop me.
For this reason I only get clothing that can be thrown in the laundry and put back on again immediately; no dry-cleaning or special instructions or ironing. Also, I generate nearly no laundry in a household, though I will kindly wash everyone else's laundry each time I launder my one outfit.
I got in trouble with this once because I went to a party in a very tight and short red minidress and matching red slippers, and then continued to wear it every day. My landlord saw me one day and asked me where I'd been, and I honestly told her "the library", and she thought I was lying to her for sure because no one goes to a library dressed like that; and she thought my answer was mocking her intelligence, and disliked me from then on.
I wear skateboarding shoes too. If I could live in Lee jeans, a t-shirt, and my Van's I would be a very happy person.
That's not totally possible so I have a rule about everything I wear having to be soft cotton or fleece because it doesn't itch and it breathes. If I try to wear something else my clothes will drive me totally crazy and I will look like a fidgety little kid
I have found some Sketcher sneakers that look like flat dress shoes that I can wear with a dress when I have to look like a grown up. Actual grown up high heel shoes clothes and suits? Aaacccckkkk - never!

Wow... seriously? I'm like that with my lolita dress. Problem is, my mom never lets me wear it in public. I do have this long coat from my cosplay I had. It's a long coat from the Organization 13 in Kingdom Hearts. I wear it a lot during the cold winter and people always think its a bit odd. But it doesn't bother me I'm as long as I am warm, right?

I have to wear tight-fitting clothing.
I've never liked 'casual' clothing like baggy clothing, I don't feel secure and they create too light a touch against my skin, cotton t-shirts also bother me as to me they are not only too loose but the fabric feels scruffy to me - this does NOT mean I think t-shirts or the people who wear them are scruffy, I just feel scruffy-looking in t-shirts.
I wear control vests under my clothing that gives a tight feeling, then tight-ish fitting clothing over the top of that - I mean I don't wear skin-tight stuff, just not baggy. I also greatly dislike having anything covering my arms, and prefer low neck lines. Don't like going sock-less, don't really do heels or more 'feminine' footwear, trainers do me fine although I'm starting to like ballet pumps.
I used to live in my coat - is this common with others?
Your coat is like your security blanket, it hides you from the world a little - I used to be unable to go anywhere without a coat, even in the summer, I can go without a coat now...but still sometimes wear a coat even if I'm hot, it doesn't occur to me to take it off.

COmmon for me. I always wear my hoodie, even in summer. My parents are always like, "You know its hot out, right?" and I'm just like, "Yeah, your point?" XD I jsut really enjoy wearing them because I feel safer in my hoodie, like you had said. In school, I always wore my jaguar hoodie and people wondered if I was hot but even if I was I never took it off and it also seemed easier, if I was wearing a favorite shirt that was dirty... I could wear the hoodie to hide the favorite but dirty shirt. XD

I like tight fitting clothing, dark jeans, tight tee shrt and a light hoodie.
I also have a string tied around my right ankle, not sure how it got there or how long it's been there, I'm wondering what age I'll be when it comes off.
in reply to the above: I wear my hoodie no matter what, I find it safe and homey, I can retreat inside of it when things get tough
and we're not the only aspies like that witho ur cloths, I've seen a bunch of commentsl ike that.

I sleep in men's cotton boxer shorts. So comfy! I can't stand the ultra-feminine, scratchy lacy stuff they sell for the female sex. Some of the styles out there imply that women care more about how they look then about comfort.

I used to have more severe tactile problems than I do now. Up until my late primary school years, I couldn't tolerate socks (but had to wear them anyways.) And, it's embarrassing to admit, but when I was an infant/toddler I would prefer not wearing any clothes at all...
I hated tags. And seams. And socks. But I was too young to say this, so I would just get upset.
I don't wear wool, I wear something under it so I won't feel it.
Sometimes my pants get uncomfortable on me like they start to itch and I don't know why this happens and the pants are cotton.
I tend to wear clothes that are teen looking or childish. I hate fancy clothing and clothing that looks too mature or too elderly looking.
I also tend to lounge around in my pajamas if I never leave the apartment and I trend to wear my work clothes when I get home but now only my work shirt goes off because I have a baby now. So it's just my jeans and bra and socks. I always wear socks in the apartment because I do not like to go bare foot.
Even when I lived in Montana, I never got changed out of my work clothes when I get home. But in the summer time I strip down because it be so hot out I would sweat.
I usually wear my Sketcher shoes which I am due doe a new pair because those other ones are getting worn out. I had two other sneakers but I wore those out and tossed them because they were giving me blisters and they dug in my heels.
I also will throw on some clothes and not even take the time to pick what I want to wear so it can be the same outfit I wore the day before. With a baby I do it more often because he spits up so no use having him dirty my other clothes and have more laundry to do. I just put the dirty pair back on again when I head out. Sometimes I will put something else on and then take it off when I get home so he won't dirty it. I am just usually in my bra and panties now and now it's just bra and jeans.
I've never liked 'casual' clothing like baggy clothing, I don't feel secure and they create too light a touch against my skin.
