They say people on the spectrum are more creative than average. I couldn't agree more.

This is an interesting question, but can you be a little more specific?

As a general statement, I think my perspective tends to be fairly narrow, though I do try to broaden it when it involves other people. But my natural state is to have a focus that is fairly self-centered on my own interests, in every sense of the word, so my natural perspective tends to be much more narrow than that of people who automatically take into account factors outside of themselves. This is something that I struggle with and I do try improve on. I find that I do much better with people when I remember to "broaden" my perspective to include their interests...

I'd say I'm less creative than average. Although I do have moments of brilliance...

I do think so because we often think in black and white and focus narrowly on our interests. We have a difficulty seeing in shades of grey.

But on the otherhand like previously stated, we often have unique creativity. We think differently and we can see things other people cant.

It would definitely at times limit your perspective on the outside world, but in terms of your own creativity I'll agree with the comments we have scope to be very creative 8)

It doesn't limit our perspective; it just gives us a different perspective. What we have is a partial overlap with the NT way of seeing things: NTs see us as limited because we don't perceive everything they can; but we might as well see them as limited, because they don't share all of our perspective either. But the overlap is huge, because both groups are human, and there's more about us that's the same than what's different.

So...it doesn't limit our perspective, just our perspective of an NT's world? :)
I agree with different perspective. It makes more sense with my line of thinking instead of what I wrote (lol it's early) as I see a lot of things differently from my friends.
