Sometimes when I am thinking about something really hard I just kind of zone out. Can be short can be for a while. Why is that sometimes I just stare at my ceiling fan with the light on and some out. I have missed entire lessons in school because of this. I am usually think about something totally different and stare aimlessly at something. People have thought I was starring at them and have gotten upset. I once had a friend at my lunch table who knew I had as and would call my name a couple of times. I would just go what and he would start up a topic he was a senior and Was a freshmen in high school he was in my math class. Ethan was a great friend and was gong to be a video game creator well that is where he gong to college. Ow for. But sometimes I would have a teacher tap me on the back and say they were going to see me after class and they would discus getting more sleep. Once I slapped my teacher accidentally after she taped me on the back. It was not on porpoise. But getting back to the topic why do I space out?

I always space out. I space out so much that I probably look really weird but I don't really think twice about it half the time. I've had instances where I accidentally caught peoples eyes as well and quickly looked away. I remember in grade 3, I used to daydream a lot in class and I'd just stare at my paper while I was supposed to be writing out spelling words. Next thing you know, spelling time was over and I had homework. I did that every spelling time because spelling was my best subject and I could just do it for homework which I didn't mind. It doesn't matter if there are people around me or not, I can stare at the tv and have my mind go completely blank while I'm lost in thought.

I do this all time time. People have tried to start fights with me in the past as they thought I was staring at them. People have come up to me to hit on me because they thought I was staring at them. I just kind of zone out.
I used to do this more when I was younger. I did this a lot of the time at school. I realized now that I'm older that it weirds people out so I try to be aware of doing this while I am in the company of others. When I am outside I wear sunglasses everywhere to prevent the aforementioned uncomfortable scenarios.

I do this a lot too. I've never been accused of staring at people though. I ususlly fixate on an object, usually a moving object when i space out. I don't think i've ever done that for more than ten minutes at a time. It usually only lasts a couple minutes.

I do this if I am either really tired or if I'm deep in thought.

I do this a lot...especially at home (when I sort of let all of my quirks go and not worry with hiding them). My gf, when she sees me doing it, always asks me "so, whatcha thinking about?!". lol

I do it often, especially out of the house, because all the background is so distracting. People look at me weird, or I end up embarrassing my friends.

Yep, I do this a lot as well. Usually I'm thinking intently on something. It's always slightly embarrassing when it happens in a meeting or something, where I miss everything being discussed until someone calls my name and asks me a question.
