In my case, I keep moving my lips. Also I keep trying to sort of align one shoulder with the other as if they lack balance. Also standing on toes, contorting ones face.

What are your typical movements?

constant lip-smacking warrants a medical checkup- possible causes might be-

•Drug induced dyskinesia
•Tardive Dyskinesia
•Complex partial seizure
•Temporal lobe seizure
•Brain tumor

as for my movements, since i am prone to torticollis, as soon as i feel a trigger point twinging me, i reflexively start doing relaxation and gentle stretching exercises of my torso. i also feel the compulsive need [sometimes] to hyperextend my limbs and fingers past their points of normal joint movement range.

I rock back and forth, bounce on my toes, and often bop my head to an imaginary beat. In fact I enjoy those things. I used to have several compulsively behavioral ticks and habits but I lost them as a teen.

The most frequent repetitive movements I engage in are "The Eternal Potty Dance" (AKA "The Michael J. Fox" due to the fact I've been asked on more than one occasion if I had Parkinson's), wiggling my leg, moving my whole upper body and head from side to side and drumming my fingers on surfaces.
