I get very hyper and I had a hard time controlling it as a kid. I would get so hyper I would start attention seeking. I have better control over it now but I still get hyper and I will pace or flap my arms or fidget in my seat. I always figure this was ADD related but I also thought I maybe have ADHD too and mom told me I only have ADD, not ADHD. Technically I am ADHD now because they removed ADD from the DSM but I don't know which ADHD I have.
ADHD-PI (Primarily Inattentive type)
ADHD-PH (Primarily Hyperactive Impulsive)
PI has no hyperactivity or impulsiveness. When it does it's called combined ADHD.
I'm hyper. Hyper to me is when I get easily bored, information seeking or if I control it I'm able to process a little better or get some tasks done, by speeding through them. But there are times when I can't even watch TV I'm so hyper. Mostly I'll be able to hyper focus on something that in a few hours won't matter to me or I won't be able to focus at all. Flapping does help me focus on something I'm really struggling with like a TV show.
