I can be quite gullible; if something sounds even remotely plausible, I might very well fall for it.

I feel that I am gullible. Part of the reasoning that I want to barricade myself against the "vultures".

Rather to the contrary - while I tend to believe people online, because I can't make judgements about people without seeing them or talking with them for some time, IRL, I disbelieve most people - the most infamous example with me, is that when the kids at my school started talking about an attack on NYC on Sept. 11 2011, I thought they were kidding - and didn't really believe it until I got home that night. ('Cause, you know, the TV people would never lie :? )

Yes, very gullible - I'll believe anything as long as it's said with a straight face.

I'm more paranoid than gullible.

I am so gullible. You can make be believe anything, you just have to look serious and say "Its true" and I'm lost....

I used to be very gullible. Now I seem to fluctuate between gullible and very skeptical.

I'm very gullible. It's easy to get me to believe something if you act like you're serious when you say it.

Yes, very gullible.

But, being on the Neuro Typical side of things too I can let you in on a little secret:
It is really very very easy to con the most intelligent and wily of people.

In fact, the more wily someone is, the more susceptible they are to subterfuge.

Don't BS a bullshitter.
Takes one to know one.
It takes a fool to catch the wise.

Now, I am not saying you can start winning at Poker, but you might have a slight advantage, with everyone thinking you are a mug.

It is easy to be cynical.
It is not so easy to trust, especially after being taken advantage of.

Learn to discern and differentiate.
It's not easy.
Surround yourself with people you can trust and who will teach you.
Not easy either.

When I was young. I stopped trusting people a long time ago and now I'm very good at picking up people's intentions. I'm still clueless as to what people's motives are though.

Not at all really, but I do find myself wanting to trust someone and wanting what they have said to be true, even though I'm sure it isn't. I don't fall for things often.

Me too. Most of my thoughts are irrational.
