I'm taking the ADOS tomorrow.
As usual, I'm in a mental/emotional mess. Will I be in the right state of mind? Will they see what I'm struggling with? Will the test even be pertinent to my issues? Will I be able to just be me, or will I try to hide things subconsciously? How will they watch me? What will they do? Ahhhhh!! !! !!

Ok. Please, if anyone could give me any info on what it's like (I'll be doing module 4 probably...), please, please, please ease my mind....what's it like? I know I have some adapting methods that have helped me...how can I let them see me, for me, without the learned behavior? This is one time when I just want to be ME.

I'm a wreck at the moment.

I had to look up what this test is.

From this description, it sounds like you should just be your true self. However don't over think it. Why are you having this test done anyhow? Your profile says you have already been diagnosed with Aspergers. Why more testing? Are you applying for disability and need the diagnosis for that? Just wondering.

I would guess that for adults, the testers recognize that adults pick up coping and compensation techniques along the way...

I put diagnosed on my profile because my psychologist is sure that I have it, but I need to have official testing so that I can get OT.

I know that's twisted reasoning, but whoever accused me of straight reasoning? :P
